Sage Care took home the Innovator's Bowl at Home Care 100 2026, earning perfect scores for impact and scalability.
We're proud to share that Sage Care won the Innovator's Bowl at Home Care 100 2026, the home care industry's premier gathering of senior operators and executives.
The Innovator's Bowl puts a handful of companies in front of a panel of industry leaders and a room full of the people who actually run home care agencies. Each company makes its case, the judges score it, and the room weighs in. We're honored that, this year, they chose Sage Care.
A perfect score for impact and scalability
The judges scored Sage Care a perfect 10 out of 10 on two dimensions: impact and scalability. Impact measures whether a product solves a problem operators genuinely feel. Scalability measures whether it can do that across an agency of any size without breaking.
Getting a 10 on either is hard. Getting a 10 on both is the recognition we were after, because it reflects the way we've built the product from day one: around the real, repetitive work that slows agencies down, and in a way that holds up whether you're running one location or fifty.
AI wasn't the differentiator. It was the price of admission.
The most important takeaway from the event had nothing to do with AI being on stage. Nearly every company there used it. AI wasn't what set the winners apart. It was the price of admission.
What the judges rewarded was a product built from real hours spent inside agencies, solving problems operators actually have: the intake paperwork that piles up after every call, the follow-ups that slip, the pipeline that's hard to see. And just as important, a product that works with the systems agencies already run rather than asking them to adopt yet another tool.
That's the core of how we think about Sage Care. It plugs into the agency management systems operators already depend on, including WellSky and AxisCare, and automates the administrative work that happens after calls and in-home assessments. The result is faster follow-up, cleaner records, and a team that spends more time on care and less on data entry.
What this means for agencies
Awards are nice. What matters more is what they signal. For home care operators evaluating new software, the Innovator's Bowl is a useful filter: it's a vote from people who know the industry that a product is built for the way agencies actually work, and that it's ready to deploy now, not someday.
That's the bar we hold ourselves to. Sage Care is in agencies today, handling intake automation, contact and lead management, and care plan creation that syncs directly with WellSky. It's not a concept. It's running.
Thank you
A genuine thank you to Lincoln Healthcare Leadership for hosting Home Care 100 and for creating a forum where operators and innovators can actually talk to each other. The trophy now sits in our new New York office, but the credit belongs to the agencies who told us what they needed and trusted us to build it.
